The Committee’s primary purpose is to assist the Board of Directors and General Manager by making recommendations on issues relating to emergency preparedness for events that may directly impact The Colony and its residents.

The committee also recruits residents to staff the Emergency Response Team and provides for the logistical support of that team.

The committee usuall meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month
