CATCOM is responsible for assisting the Board of Directors in its efforts to communicate information accurately through video or other means as deemed appropriate and approved by the Board. CATCOM may also provide communication support to Board-sanctioned committees and clubs in the production of event or educational videos, as directed by the Board. Support activities include the following:
- Record and produce monthly Board open session meetings, town hall meetings, training videos, or any other programming requested by the Board;
- Post open session Board meetings on the Association’s official website for a period consistent with the electronic record retention policy;
- As directed by the Board, create engaging personalized human-interest type programming with committees, clubs, residents, and city events that are intended to inform and inspire Colony residents;
- Assist the Board of Directors in establishing an effective communication relationship between the Board and members of the community; and
- Assist management staff in maintaining a full inventory of audio-visual hardware and current digital multimedia, asset management procedures and digital file organization.
