  • How big is The Colony?

    The Colony consists of 1,586 single-family residential homes.  Homes range in size from 900 to 2,100 square feet, and include a small fenced yard.  Most are single story homes; however, some models are two story.  

  • How much are the monthly dues and what is included?

    The monthly assessment is $320 per month, due on the 1st of each month.  


    The monthly assessments pay for the operation and maintenance of the Association, including administration, utilities, amenities (such as social events, recreational activities, special functions and celebrations), common area and front yard landscaping maintenance which includes irrigation water, 24/7 gate attendant and community patrol services, repair and maintenance of clubhouse facilities and common areas, and funding the association’s reserves.


  • Do residents continue to work?

    Yes, many residents continue to work while living in The Colony.  The clubhouse and amenities are open in the evenings and weekends.  

    Many of the social events are held in the evenings and weekends also, so that residents who work can attend.



  • Can children visit?

    Yes, children, as guests of residents, can visit The Colony.  

  • Do you offer assisted living?

    No, The Colony is a 55+ community.  Some residents elect to arrange for private in-home care services, but these services are not provided by The Colony.  

  • If I am a Real Estate Agent, how do I get access to show buyers homes in The Colony?

    Real Estate Agents need to show a current Real Estate License to the front gate attendants at the main gate on Jackson to access The Colony with clients.  The Agent must remain with the clients at all times until they leave the community.
